Beard on 29 July 1900 at Angelina County, Texas.5 He died from a cerebral hemorrhage (stroke) at 5:00 pm on 3 June 1936 at Chester, Tyler County, Texas, at age 85 years, 1 month and 29 days.1,3,2 He was buried on 4 June 1936 at Mt. Zion Cemetery, Chester, Tyler County, Texas.1,3,2
