     Earl Edwin Prouse Sr. was born on 4 February 1904 at Mississippi.2,1 He was the son of Nicholas Brown Prouse and Estella Suthoff.2 He married Cassie Pauline Sargent, daughter of Eddie Lee Sargent Sr. and Ona Amanda Rawls, circa 1935.1 He died of acute leukemia at 10:45 am on 6 January 1975 at Baptist Hospital, Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas, at age 70 years, 11 months and 2 days.2 He was buried on 8 January 1975 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas.2
