     Gideon H. Pond was born in 1874 at Alabama.2,3 As of 1874, Gideon Harris Pond was also known as Gideon H.2,3 He was the son of Walter Franklin Pond and Amanda E. Pistole.2 He married Nellie Wilson, daughter of Charles Bennett Wilson and Maud Hopkins, circa 1902.3 He was buried at Evergreen Cemetery, 920 Jackson Avenue, Orange, Orange County, Texas.2 He died in 1940 at Houston, Harris County, Texas, at age 66 years.2
