     Francois Terence Breaux was born on 23 April 1816.1 He was the son of Joseph Breaux and Marcelline Carmouche.1 He was baptized on 29 April 1816 at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church, St. Martinville, St. Martin Parish, Louisiana, at age 6 days.1 He married Louise Dugas on 5 April 1836 at Cathedral of St. John, 914 St. John Street, Lafayette, Lafayette Parish, Louisiana.2
