     William Cleo Hubbard was born on 19 August 1904 at Hamilton County, Texas.2 He was the son of Ella Patience Hubbard.3 He appeared on the census of 20 April 1910 in the household of Charles Goodnight and Mary Ann Goodnight at Justice Precinct 3, Goodnight, Armstrong County, Texas.3 He married Retta Lemonte Carter in 1925.4 He was the informant on the death certificate of Ella Hubbard on 5 March 1929 at Goodnight, Armstrong County, Texas.5,6 He and his wife Retta Lemonte Carter appeared on the census of 13 April 1940 at Precinct 3, Goodnight, Armstrong County, Texas.7 He died from a myocardial infarction (heart attack) at 11:45 am on 25 January 1958 at his home two miles south of Goodnight, Armstrong County, Texas, at age 53 years, 5 months and 6 days.2 He was buried on 27 January 1958 at Goodnight Cemetery, Goodnight, Armstrong County, Texas.2,8
