     Augustin Belaire Fontenot was born on 19 June 1819. He was the son of Augustin Belaire Fontenot and Celeste Hebert. He was baptized on 24 February 1820 at Opelousas, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana, at age 8 months and 5 days. He died after 1890 at Acadia Parish, Louisiana.
