     Joseph Thibodeau was born circa 1776.1 As of circa 1776, Joseph Thibodeau was also known as Joseph Thibaudau.1 He was the son of Paul Thibodeau and Rosalie Guilbeau.1 He married Pelagie Broussard, daughter of Francois Broussard and Pelagie Landry, on 11 September 1798 at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church, St. Martinville, St. Martin Parish, Louisiana.1
