He was the son of Jean Baptiste Trahan and Marie Aucoin.1 He married Azelie Noel Roy, daughter of Noel Roy Jr. and Eugenie Menard, on 22 May 1843 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, Grand Coteau, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.2,1 He died circa 1853 at Opelousas, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.
