John William Conway

     John William Conway was born on 30 December 1930 at Orange, Orange County, Texas.^1,2 He was the son of Roy King Conway and Ethel Geanna Vivian Nezat.^2,1 John William Conway also went by the name of Johnny. He was graduated as Valedictorian of his class in 1949 at Vinton High School, Vinton, Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana.¹ His Social Security Number was 453-44-7312 issued before 1951 at Texas.³ He was a veteran of the United States Army during the Korean War.¹ He married Anna Faye Hankins, daughter of Cloay Vaughn Hankins and Annie Bernice Cady, on 23 October 1953 at Orange County, Texas.⁴ He was retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone Company after 35 years of service circa 1990 at Orange, Orange County, Texas.¹ He was listed in the obituary as a son of Roy King Conway on 24 January 2000.^5,6,7 He was a member of the Orange First Church of the Nazarene for many years at Orange, Orange County, Texas.¹ He died on 30 May 2007 at Harbor Hospice Care Facility, Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas, at age 76 years and 5 months.¹ The funeral service was held at 2:00 pm on 2 June 2007 at Orange First Church of the Nazarene, 3810 Martin Luther King Drive, Orange, Orange County, Texas.¹ He was buried on 2 June 2007 at Autumn Oaks Memorial Park, Old Highway 90, Orange, Orange County, Texas.¹
