Gwendolyn Dixon

     Gwendolyn Dixon was born on 17 August 1920 at Anacoco, Vernon Parish, Louisiana.¹ Gwendolyn Dixon also went by the name of Gwen. She was the daughter of Thomas Wayne Dixon and Sophenia Addison.¹ She married Lawrence Herbert Boehme, son of Charles August Boehme and Ida Witt, on 4 September 1938.¹ She became a widow upon the death of her husband, Lawrence Herbert Boehme Sr., on 20 February 1965 at Orange Memorial Hospital, 608 Strickland Drive, Orange, Orange County, Texas.^2,3,4 She died on 15 March 2023 at Harbor Hospice Care Facility, Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas, at age 102 years, 6 months and 26 days.¹ She was buried on 20 March 2023 at Beech Grove Cemetery, Burr Ferry, Vernon Parish, Louisiana.¹
