He was a Methodist Minister all of his life.1 He died from pneumonia at 2:50 pm on 24 April 1956 at Moellendorf Rest Home, 511 Cora Street, Fredericksburg, Gillespie County, Texas, at age 90 years, 7 months and 23 days.1,3 He was buried on 26 April 1956 at Greenwood Cemetery, Fredericksburg, Gillespie County, Texas.1,3
