     Zepherin Augustin Fruge' was born on 29 September 1826 at St. Landry Parish, Louisiana. He was the son of Augustin Fruge' and Marie Lesage. He married Aurore Fontenot on 12 May 1852 at Grand Coteau, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana. He was planter in 1860. He died on 29 January 1881 at Eunice, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana, at age 54 years and 4 months.
