She was the daughter of Pierre Alexandre Nezat and Virginie Marcel Patin.1 She appeared as a daughter on the census of 2 October 1850 in the household of Pierre Alexandre Nezat and Virginie Marcel Patin at St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.2 She and Robert Savant may have been married on 2 December 1852 at Opelousas, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.1 She married Robert Savant, son of Pierre Savant and Marie Louise Guillory, on 6 December 1852 at St. Landry Catholic Church, Opelousas, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.3 She became a widow upon the death of her husband, Robert Savant, circa 1864. She married Telesphore Zerangue, son of Daniel Telesphore Zerangue and Genevieve Marie Barre, on 29 August 1865 at St. Landry Catholic Church, Opelousas, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.4 She was listed as the wife in the succession of Robert Savant on 25 January 1871 at Opelousas, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.5 She became a widow upon the death of her husband, Telesphore Zerangue, on 19 May 1884 at Opelousas, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.6 She died on 15 July 1884 at Port Barre, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.7,8 It is not known where Annais Nezat was buried.7,8 She was listed as the wife in the succession of Telesphore Zerangue on 10 September 1885 at Opelousas, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.9
