Jacob LaFayette Morris

     Jacob LaFayette Morris was born on 24 May 1858 at Whitfield County, Georgia.^2,1 He was the son of George W Morris Jr. and Louisianna Ault.² He appeared on the census of 23 June 1860 at Whitfield County, Georgia.² He appeared on the census of August 1870 at Mill Creek, Whitfield County, Georgia.² He appeared on the census of 14 June 1880 at Mill Creek, Whitfield County, Georgia.² He married Sarah Louisa Babb, daughter of Joel Heard Babb and Mary A. McDonald, in December 1883.² He appeared on the census of 1900 at Mill Creek, Whitfield County, Georgia.² He appeared on the census of 1910 at Mill Creek, Whitfield County, Georgia.² He appeared on the census of 2 April 1930 at Mill Creek, Whitfield County, Georgia.² He became a widower upon the death of his wife, Sarah Louisa Babb, on 21 March 1931 at Rocky Face, Whitfield County, Georgia.^3,2 He died on 5 November 1937 at Rocky Face, Whitfield County, Georgia, at age 79 years, 5 months and 12 days.^1,2 He was buried at Mill Creek Cemetery, Mill Creek, Whitfield County, Georgia.¹
