Essie Ouida Freeman

     Essie Ouida Freeman was born on 21 March 1896 at Tyler County, Texas.¹ She was the daughter of Charles Thomas Freeman and Dorcas Wynn Blanche Sumrall. She married James Gilbert Berwick on 28 December 1913 at Orange County, Texas.¹ She became a widow upon the death of her husband, James Gilbert Berwick, on 19 September 1972 at Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas.¹ She died on 31 December 1972 at Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas, at age 76 years, 9 months and 10 days.¹ She was buried at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas.²
