     Michel Comeaux was born circa 1778. He was the son of Michel Comeaux and Marie Girouard.1 He married Marie Louise Latiolais, daughter of Louis Coquelin Latiolais and Julienne Jean Barre, on 3 December 1800 at St. Landry Catholic Church, Opelousas, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.1 He witnessed the marriage of Jean Eugene Daigle and Celestine Lebleu on 30 September 1828 at St. Landry Parish Courthouse, Opelousas, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.2,3
