     Cooper Varner was born in 1817.1 He was the son of John Varner and Elizabeth McKnight.1 He married Amanda Tatom on 27 January 1836 at Marengo County, Alabama.2 He married Rachel White on 5 March 1838 at Marengo County, Alabama.3 He appeared on the census of 1 June 1840 at Macon County, Alabama.4 He died in 1844 at age 27 years.1
