     Jean Baptiste Noel Roy was born on 15 February 1780 at Opelousas, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.1 He was the son of Noel Roy and Perine Bordelon.1 He was baptized on 15 June 1780 at St. Landry Catholic Church, Opelousas, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana, at age 4 months.1 He married Francoise Doucet, daughter of Pierre Doucet and Marie Thereze Brignac, on 11 February 1806 at St. Landry Catholic Church, Opelousas, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.2 He witnessed the marriage of Francois Xavier Miller and Julienne Roy on 8 February 1821 at Opelousas, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.3 He was buried on 11 November 1829 at Opelousas, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.4
