     Emelie Soileau was born circa 1800.1 She was the daughter of Noel Soileau and Angelique Fontenot.1 She married Zenon Fontenot circa 1820.2 She married Francois Ardoin Jr., son of Francois Ardoin and Laurine Quebodeau, on 24 January 1826 at St. Landry Catholic Church, Opelousas, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.2,3 She died before 18 February 1845.4
