     Alexis Olivier was born circa 1835.1 He was the son of Alexis Olivier and Marie Anselm LaGrange.2 He and Marie Sidonise Guidroz may have been married on 23 September 1856 at St. Landry Parish Courthouse, Opelousas, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.3 He married Marie Sidonise Guidroz, daughter of Pierre Guidroz and Marie Marguerite Neraut, on 30 September 1856 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, Grand Coteau, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.2
