     Delphine Neraut was born circa 1800 at Opelousas, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.1 She was the daughter of Andre Neraut and Marie Louise Prudhomme.1 She married Andre Mayer Jr., son of Andre Mayer and Marie Anne Stelly, on 5 August 1817 at St. Landry Catholic Church, Opelousas, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.1 She was the godmother of Andre Lalonde baptized on 21 October 1821 at St. Landry Catholic Church, Opelousas, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.2 She died before 18 December 1822 at Opelousas, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.3
