Paul Leger1

     Paul Leger was born circa 1770 at New York City, New York County, New York.1 He married Marie Constance Potier circa 1790.1 He witnessed the marriage of Antoine Ritter and Marie Magdelaine Leger on 6 September 1814 at St. Landry Catholic Church, Opelousas, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.1,2 He was the godfather of Marie Magdelaine Ritter baptized on 6 May 1816 at St. Landry Catholic Church, Opelousas, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.1 He died before 20 November 1821.3
