     Adeline Neraut was born circa 1802.1 She was the daughter of Andre Neraut and Marie Louise Prudhomme.1 A contract for the marriage of Adeline Neraut and Joseph B. Castille was signed on 7 December 1822 at St. Landry Parish Courthouse, Opelousas, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.2 She married Joseph B. Castille, son of Jean Baptiste Castille and Julie Stelly, on 16 December 1822 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, Grand Coteau, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.1 She was the godmother of Jean Baptiste Duprelon Guidroz baptized on 17 June 1828 at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church, St. Martinville, St. Martin Parish, Louisiana.3
