     Villeneuve Bordelon was born circa 1800.1 He witnessed the marriage of Jean Baptiste Wiltz dit Suisse and Irene Bordelon on 7 July 1818 at St. Landry Catholic Church, Opelousas, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.2 He married Julienne Leger circa 1825.1
