.1 Elizabeth Isabelle Broussard was also known as Zabelle.4 She was the daughter of Joseph Broussard and Ursulle Trahan.2 She married Michel Meaux, son of Antoine Meaux and Marie LaDoube, on 14 February 1770 at St. Peter Catholic Church, 108 East St. Peter Street, New Iberia, Iberia Parish, Louisiana.3,2,1 She became a widow upon the death of her husband, Michel Meaux, before 29 November 1785.5,1 A contract for the marriage of Elizabeth Isabelle Broussard and Pierre LaPointe was signed on 29 November 1785 at St. Martinville, St. Martin Parish, Louisiana.6 She became a widow upon the death of her husband, Pierre LaPointe, before 7 August 1795.5 A contract for the marriage of Elizabeth Isabelle Broussard and Thomas Nikelson was signed on 7 August 1795 at St. Martin Parish Courthouse, 400 S Main Street, St. Martinville, St. Martin Parish, Louisiana.5 She married Thomas Nikelson, son of Alexandre Nikelson and Eugeni Hart, on 25 August 1795 at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church, St. Martinville, St. Martin Parish, Louisiana.4 She was the godmother of Ursule Cormier baptized on 29 March 1801 at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church, St. Martinville, St. Martin Parish, Louisiana.7
