     Jean Comeaux was born circa 1765.1 He was the son of Victor Comeaux and Anne Michel.1 He was listed as a step-son in the succession of Joseph Cormier on 20 June 1818 at St. Landry Parish Courthouse, Opelousas, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.1
