     Pierre Ferguy was born circa 1815.1 He married Celestine Laure Cormier, daughter of Jean Narcisse Cormier dit Mano and Celeste Chiasson, on 19 January 1837 at Cathedral of St. John, 914 St. John Street, Lafayette, Lafayette Parish, Louisiana.1
