     Leandre Landry was born circa 1790.1 He was the son of Joseph Landry and Marie Louise Bourg.1 He was baptized on 11 July 1790 at St. Landry Catholic Church, Opelousas, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.1 He was listed as a son in the succession of Joseph Landry in February 1809 at St. Landry Parish Courthouse, Opelousas, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.2 He married Lise Brasseux, daughter of Blaise Brasseux and Anne Prejean, on 17 June 1811 at St. Landry Catholic Church, Opelousas, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.3 He was the godfather of Adelaide Felonice Savoie baptized on 22 September 1811 at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church, St. Martinville, St. Martin Parish, Louisiana.4
