     Emelia Robin was born circa 1821.2,3 She was the daughter of Louis Joseph Francois Robin and Emelite Stelly.2 A contract for the marriage of Emelia Robin and Alexandre Castille was signed on 19 March 1838 at St. Landry Parish Courthouse, Opelousas, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.2 She married Alexandre Castille, son of Jean Baptiste Castille and Julie Stelly, on 19 March 1838 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, Grand Coteau, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.3 She and Alexandre Castille may have been married on 19 March 1841 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, Grand Coteau, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.4
