     Francois Robin was born circa 1812.1 A contract for the marriage of Francois Robin and Eleonore Stelly was signed on 27 July 1833 at St. Landry Parish Courthouse, Opelousas, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.2 He married Elenore Emelie Stelly, daughter of Michel Baptiste Stelly and Francoise Josephine Robin, on 5 August 1833 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, Grand Coteau, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.1
