     Samuel F. Cooley was born in October 1859 at Tennessee.2,1 He was the son of Francis Cooley Jr. and Francis (?)1,2 He appeared as a grandson on the census of 11 July 1860 in the household of Francis Cooley and Elizabeth Cooley at District 7, Weakley County, Tennessee.2 He appeared on the census of 11 July 1870 in the household of J. L. Peery at District 6, Weakley County, Tennessee.1
