     Alexander Peery was born on 14 August 1796 at Augusta County, Virginia.2,1 William B. Peery and Robert Luther Peery and Alexander Peery were triplets. He was the son of James Peery Sr. and Jane Gilmore.3,4 He was a veteran serving as a Private in the 1st Regiment, Mounted Gunmen (Dyer's), Tennessee Volunteers, in the War of 1812 between 1812 and 1815.5,2 He married (?) (?) circa 1820.1 He and his wife (?) (?) appeared on the census of 1 June 1830 at Hickman County, Tennessee.6 He became a widower upon the death of his wife, (?) (?), before 1831.1 He married Margarett (?) circa 1831.1 He was employed as a farmer on 19 September 1850 at Hickman County, Tennessee.1 He and his wife Margarett Peery appeared on the census of 19 September 1850 at Hickman County, Tennessee.1 He died on 5 September 1854 at Hickman County, Tennessee, at age 58 years and 22 days.2 He was buried at Campground Cemetery, Centerville, Hickman County, Tennessee.2
