He married Ann Carson Cowan circa 1800.3 He married Ann Cowan circa 1810.4 He was a veteran of the War of 1812 serving as a Private in the 2nd Regiment (Cocke's) West Tennessee Militia.5,1 He appeared on the census of 19 September 1850 at Hickman County, Tennessee.2 He was employed as a farmer on 19 September 1850 at Hickman County, Tennessee.2 He died in 1851 at age 70 years.1 He was buried at Campground Cemetery, Centerville, Hickman County, Tennessee.1
