Childers and Sarah Childers at 119 Jodie Avenue, Lufkin, Angelina County, Texas.5 He registered for military service on 5 June 1917 at Lufkin, Angelina County, Texas.1 He appeared as a son on the census of 3 January 1920 in the household of D. M. Childers and Tillie Childers at Pct 1, Lufkin, Angelina County, Texas.6 He was employed as a self-employed doctor in the field of dentistry on 3 January 1920 at Lufkin, Angelina County, Texas.6 He married E. Velma Jarrell, daughter of James Martin Jarrell and Alma Rowe, circa 1923.7 He and his wife E.
