She appeared on the census of 24 April 1930 at Pct 1, Shelby County, Texas, in the household of her husband Albert John Richards.6 She became a widow upon the death of her husband, Albert John Richards, on 14 November 1942 at Center, Shelby County, Texas.7,8 She died of a systemic infection at 3 pm on 17 June 1959 at Blue Haven Rest Home, Cleveland, Liberty County, Texas, at age 84 years, 1 month and 19 days.9,2 She was buried at Antioch Cemetery, Center, Shelby County, Texas.2
