Louvenia Jane Collier

     Louvenia Jane Collier was born on 23 December 1857 at Spurger, Tyler County, Texas.^2,1 She was the daughter of Joseph William Collier Sr. and Harriet Jane Stewart.¹ She appeared as a daughter on the census of 1 June 1860 in the household of Joseph William Collier Sr. and Harriet Jane Collier at Woodville, Tyler County, Texas.¹ She married George Washington Cowart, son of Aron Clark Cowart and Violetta W. Allen, circa 1874.³ She became a widow upon the death of her husband, George Washington Cowart, on 29 October 1927 at Warren, Tyler County, Texas.³ She died of influenzy (sic) at 6:10 am on 22 March 1936 at Warren, Tyler County, Texas, at age 78 years, 2 months and 28 days.² She was buried at Beech Creek Baptist Cemetery, CR 4540, Spurger, Tyler County, Texas.²
