Oxford at Stephenville, Erath County, Texas.2 He appeared as a son on the census of 18 April 1910 in the household of Harmon B. Oxford and Cliffie M. Oxford at Precinct 1, Granberry, Hood County, Texas.4 He was a veteran of World War I, serving as a Corporal in the Army Tank Corps.1 He was discharged on 6 January 1919 at Fort Logan, Denver County, Colorado.1 He appeared as a son on the census of 5 January 1920 in the household of Brinkley H. Oxford and Cliffie M. Oxford at Precinct 5, Melrose, Curry County, New Mexico.5 He married Ruth Fain circa 1925.
