     Joachim Hebert I was born circa 1775 at New Orleans, Orleans Parish, Louisiana. He was the son of Francois Milan Hebert and Marie Anne Marcantel. He married Amata 'Therese' Gagnard circa 1799 at Opelousas, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana. He married Marie Francois Philippe Fontenot, daughter of Francois Fontenot and Therese Engle, on 27 January 1811 at Opelousas, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana. He died before 2 July 1823.1,2
