     Perinne LaCour was born in 1727 at Natchez, Adams County, Mississippi.1 She may have been born in 1726.2 As of 1727, Perinne LaCour was also known as Perrine. She was the daughter of Nicholas Lacour and Perinne Britte.1,2 She married Joseph Roy dit Chatellereau, son of Edmond Roy and Marie Ann Janvier, on 30 January 1744 at New Roads, Pointe Coupee Parish, Louisiana.3 She became a widow upon the death of her husband, Joseph Roy dit Chatellereau, on 10 October 1761 at New Roads, Pointe Coupee Parish, Louisiana.4 She married Francois Marcantel on 16 June 1779 at Opelousas, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.5 She was the godmother of Anthony Gilchrist baptized on 2 February 1789 at St. Landry Catholic Church, Opelousas, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.6 She died on 5 September 1792 at Opelousas, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana, at age 65 years.1,7 She was the subject of a succession filed in 1792 at St. Landry Parish Courthouse, Opelousas, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.8
