     John H. Windham was born on 24 May 1902.1 He married Clio Adeline Sherrod, daughter of Ethan Allen Sherrod and Aeaner Melvina Samford, on 15 May 1920 at Shelby County, Texas.2,3 He may have become a widower upon the possible death of his wife Clio Adeline Sherrod on 5 November 1981.4 He died on 18 May 1986 at age 83 years, 11 months and 24 days.1 He was buried at Antioch Cemetery, Center, Shelby County, Texas.1
