     Batilde Broussard was born on 7 October 1770 at St. Martinville, St. Martin Parish, Louisiana.1,4 She was the daughter of Silvain Broussard and Felicite Guilbeaux.1,2 She was baptized on 24 April 1771 at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church, St. Martinville, St. Martin Parish, Louisiana, at age 6 months and 17 days.1 She married Pierre Breaux, son of Firmin Breaux and Marguerite Breaux, on 10 January 1793 at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church, St. Martinville, St. Martin Parish, Louisiana.5,3,4 She witnessed the succession of Silvain Broussard on 1 August 1808 at St. Martin Parish Courthouse, 400 S Main Street, St. Martinville, St. Martin Parish, Louisiana.6 She died at her home on 1 March 1825 at Grand Pointe, St. Martin Parish, Louisiana, at age 54 years, 4 months and 22 days.7 She was buried on 2 March 1825 at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Cemetery, St. Martinville, St. Martin Parish, Louisiana.7
