     Adelaide Breaux was born on 20 December 1795 at St. Martinville, St. Martin Parish, Louisiana.1,2 She was the daughter of Pierre Breaux and Batilde Broussard.1,2 She was baptized on 7 February 1796 at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church, St. Martinville, St. Martin Parish, Louisiana, at age 1 month and 18 days.1 She married Maximilien Carmouche, son of Francois Carmouche and Francoise Arceneaux, on 17 September 1821 at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church, St. Martinville, St. Martin Parish, Louisiana.2 She was the godmother of Pierre Emile Arceneaux baptized on 16 July 1825 at Cathedral of St. John, 914 St. John Street, Lafayette, Lafayette Parish, Louisiana.3
