     Ellia Fontenot was born circa 1868.1 She was the daughter of Henry Fontenot and Louisa Fontenot.2 She and Theodore Ardoin may have been married on 2 June 1888 at St. Landry Parish Courthouse, Opelousas, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.3 She married Theodore Ardoin, son of Francois Ardoin and Alcidie Fuselier, on 19 June 1888 at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Eunice, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.2
