     Paulin Arceneaux was born on 6 October 1807 at St. Martinville, St. Martin Parish, Louisiana.1,2 He was the son of Alexandre Arceneaux and Helena Carmouche.1 He was baptized on 1 November 1807 at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church, St. Martinville, St. Martin Parish, Louisiana, at age 26 days.1,2 He was the godfather of Bonne Bernard baptized on 24 March 1823 at Cathedral of St. John, 914 St. John Street, Lafayette, Lafayette Parish, Louisiana.3
