     Pierre Rozemond Breaux was born circa 1809.1 He was the son of Joseph Athanase Breaux and Marie Catherine Arceneaux.1 He was the godfather of William Caruthers baptized on 21 December 1820 at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church, St. Martinville, St. Martin Parish, Louisiana.2 He witnessed the marriage of Pierre Treville Bernard and Marie Euphrosine Arceneaux on 28 January 1822 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, Grand Coteau, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.3 He was the godfather of Marie Eufrasie Carmouche baptized on 24 April 1825 at Cathedral of St. John, 914 St. John Street, Lafayette, Lafayette Parish, Louisiana.4 He married Genevieve Calliste Arceneaux, daughter of Alexandre Arceneaux and Helena Carmouche, on 23 February 1829 at Cathedral of St. John, 914 St. John Street, Lafayette, Lafayette Parish, Louisiana.1
