She became a widow upon the death of her husband, Lloyd Thomas Freeman, on 25 February 1959 at Doctor's Hospital, 5500 39th Street, Groves, Jefferson County, Texas.3 She died on 29 July 2005 at Oakwood Manor Nursing Home, Vidor, Orange County, Texas, at age 91 years, 6 months and 2 days.4 She was buried at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Bridge City, Orange County, Texas.5
