Patin and Catherine Donna Bossier.1 He was the godfather of Hortense Patin baptized on 5 January 1808 at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church, St. Martinville, St. Martin Parish, Louisiana.2 He was the godfather of Ursin Patin baptized on 1 August 1813 at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church, St. Martinville, St. Martin Parish, Louisiana.3 He married Marie Aspasie Guidry, daughter of Joseph Guidry and Scholastique Hebert, on 22 April 1816 at St. Martinville, St. Martin Parish, Louisiana.1 He died on 12 March 1853 at Lafayette, Lafayette Parish, Louisiana, at age 69 years.4 He was the subject of a succession filed on 5 October 1854 at Lafayette Parish Courthouse, Lafayette, Lafayette Parish, Louisiana.5 He was listed as the husband in the succession of Marie Aspasie Guidry on 7 September 1865 at Lafayette Parish Courthouse, Lafayette, Lafayette Parish, Louisiana.6
