.1 He was the son of Joseph Dugas and Celeste Dugas.1 He married Celeste Cormier, daughter of Jean Baptiste Cormier dit Mano and Marie Apolone Martin, on 16 May 1821 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, Grand Coteau, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.1 He was the subject of a succession filed on 30 March 1847 at Lafayette Parish Courthouse, Lafayette, Lafayette Parish, Louisiana.2
